Christian Distinctiveness

At Five Lanes Primary School, our Christian vision shapes the life of our school community. We believe in providing firm foundations for learning and flourishing, where every child is valued, supported and encouraged to grow.

Our values of trust, respect and compassion guide how we learn, work and care for one another. Inspired by the teaching of Jesus and the parable of the wise and foolish builders (Matthew 7:24–25), we seek to build strong foundations for our pupils so that they are equipped to face challenges, make wise choices and contribute positively to the world around them.

Christian distinctiveness at Five Lanes is seen not only in collective worship and links with the local church, but also in the way we nurture relationships, encourage reflection and help children recognise moments of awe, wonder and joy in their everyday experiences.

We welcome children and families of all faiths and none. Our aim is to create a community where everyone feels a strong sense of belonging and where each child can grow in confidence, character and understanding.
